Mr. Moore's Study

This is a lovely room that was added in 1945 as a study by the Virginia senator and Speaker of the House E. Blackburne Moore. The lights glowing on the beautiful woodwork at night make this room especially atmospheric. It has a queen wrought iron bed, built-in corner shelves, mantle, and a new bath with a tiled shower and pedestal sink.

Pictures don't do this room justice and guests love it when they see it. This is the only first floor room, with a rate of $140.
